The Power of Appreciative Inquiry: Harnessing Human Energy to Create a Positive Organizational Climate

October 14 & 15, 2015

8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Facilitator: Maureen McKenna

The traditional Appreciative Inquiry (AI) foundation workshop has been redesigned to increase knowledge retention by providing a 100 day action based learning cycle, which includes pre-work, the two day experiential workshop and three group coaching sessions.

This highly experiential learning program will engage you in learning about the foundations of Appreciative Inquiry (AI), an approach, philosophy, and process for igniting innovation through strength-based inquiry and high engagement.  Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a change-initiative process that Dr. David Cooperrider (creator and thought leader of AI), calls “a positive revolution in the leadership of change.”  A key output from this positive revolution is the ability to source human energy through consciously taking an AI approach to change. AI is experiencing tremendous growth based on the sustainable impact it is having in business, education, healthcare, communities, non-profit and government institutions.

This limited enrolment workshop is designed for consultants, coaches, leaders, organizational & community facilitators, and change agents - anyone who want to spark engagement and innovation in their organizations and communities. It provides a foundation for the practice of Appreciative Inquiry (AI); an approach, philosophy, and process for igniting innovation through focused inquiry and high-engagement.

Voice of Past Participants:

“I flew the Atlantic to study appreciative inquiry with Maureen (‘Mo’) McKenna. It was absolutely the right thing to do. Mo brings a moving depth of knowledge and experience of appreciative inquiry to this training, along with a sensitive, insightful and focused approach to her teaching. Mo displays a special combination of heart and courage in her work that make her influence and her capability very rate. Mo’s work helped me feel confident and clear about the importance of AI along with understanding how I can move forward with it in my own work.”
