Why do some people crumble under pressure while others flourish in reaction to stress? What explains the difference between these two groups of individuals? Stress hardiness is a key factor in resilience - the ability to remain healthy and strong during challenging times. Hardy individuals transform stressful events into opportunities for growth by taking direct action in response to stress and trauma.
This webinar will explore the three components of stress hardiness, namely: challenge, control, and commitment. Challenge is the understanding that change is normal and acts as an incentive for self-improvement. Control is the belief in one's ability to influence life events. Commitment is the ability to engage fully in all aspects of life, no matter how big or small, with a sense of purpose and meaning.
This webinar will be of interest to anyone who wants to know more about how to promote hardiness in their professional or personal lives.
