JOB DESCRIPTION –Part- time Administrative Assistant (3-days a week/flexible)
Title: Administrative Assistant
Supervisor: President, Canadian Positive Psychology Association
The Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA) is a registered not-for-profit organization that focuses on improving the psychological health of all Canadians through the research and application of positive psychology across Canada. Our primary operations include running local educational events and national bi-annual conferences that attract an international audience.
We are currently looking to expand our administration capacity with this new position which will support the board of volunteers and the president. The administration supports every aspect of agency function including volunteers, basic bookkeeping, fundraising, board administration, procedures, marketing announcements, social media and website upkeep. This is a fast paced, lean environment which requires multi-tasking, flexibility and willingness to help out wherever there is a need.
You are self-motivated, able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. You are able to prioritize your work and juggle many tasks. You are extremely detail-oriented, conscientious, thorough, friendly, enjoy learning and taking on new challenges. You are a good communicator, both verbally and in writing and have strong organizational skills. You can work independently and as part of a team.
