About the Comedians


Maia Aziz

Maia Aziz is a Professional Social Worker (PSW) with over 20 years’ experience in child protection, pediatric rehabilitation and currently as Assistant Administrative Chief of Allied Health Services at The Montreal Children’s Hospital (McGill University Health Centre) in Montreal, Canada. A Certified Humor Professional (CHP) and active member of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor and the International Society for Humor Studies, Maia hosts the podcast Morning Moments with Maia…Conversations of Love and Laughter, through which she explores applications of therapeutic humor and positive psychology in health, leadership and well-being. www.withloveandlaughter.ca


Liliana De Leo

Liliana De Leo is a Laughter Yoga Master Trainer certified directly by Dr. Madan Kataria, the founder of Laughter Yoga. She is a prominent teacher, fitness professional, and dynamic public speaker.  Liliana’s energetic teaching style is influenced by her 20 year experience as fitness trainer in the field of health & wellness.  She helps people use laughter as a form of exercise to increase stamina, productivity and resilience. www.lilianadeleo.com


Julie Ostrow

As the Humor, Laughter, and Improv Coach, American Laughing Champion and Second City-trained Julie Ostrow teaches organizations and corporate teams to use improv skills to improve Creativity, Communication, Team Building, Problem Solving, and Productivity with their clients and within their organizations. She teaches the benefits of using humor, laughter, and improv in all aspects of our lives, including in the workplace. Julie conducts humor, laughter, and improv workshops for corporations, healthcare organizations, conventions, and schools.
